World Music Award for Iranian musician

This year, the second humanitarian achievement award was awarded to the prominent Iranian musician Keyhan Kalhor, whose musical works have often taken the humanitarian approach beyond his hometown and nationality.

Isaac Stern's international competition, along with international tests of Tchaikovsky and Queen Elizabeth, is one of the world's most prestigious music tests that are devoted to humanitarian art activities.

According to the news conference on August 28, 2018 at the Shanghai Hall of Symphony, the Isaac Stern's Human Spirit Award winners are Keyhan Kalhor, composer and musician of Kamancheh and choirs Farmers.

The Stern Award, which was founded in 2016, is intended to respect groups or individuals who have had a significant contribution to humanity and human affairs through music.

The international Isaac Stern Contest is named after the Ukrainian-American violinist and Stern's family will also attend the competition, which will be held in Shanghai, China.
