Carlos Antonio Alcalá Cordones was received by International Advisor of the Faculty of World Studies Amir Bahram Arabahmadi and Head of the Spanish Studies Research Center and the Director of the Latin American Studies Department of the faculty Maryam Haqrousta.
Amir Bahram Arabahmadi briefing the Venezuelan official on the Faculty of World Studies of the University of Tehran and its educational departments, expressed interest in enhancement of academic ties with universities in Latin America, especially those in Venezuela.
In the meantime, Haqrousta, also stressed establishing academic ties between the Venezuelan academic centers and the Faculty of World Studies of Tehran University.
She urged joint educational and research activities between University of Tehran and the universities in Venezuela, including conducting research projects, translation of literary works, holding joint conferences and art and cinema events.
