The objects have reportedly been discovered during operations to determine the limits and proposing the privacy of the archeological site.
The discovered objects could used to determine the probable history of the site up to the Sassanid era, Mohammad Eqbal Chehri, Head of the exploration operations was quoted as saying on Saturday by the Public Relations Office of the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism (RICHT).
The pottery belongs to the early Islamic era, Chehri was quoted as saying.
The hill was registered in the list of national monuments in 2011, he added.
Chehri referred to the abundant pottery discoveries at the Imamzadeh Qassem Hill, describing them as the most significant feature of the site.
The discovered potteries carry designs, including stamped, zigzag, rope, diversified geometric and even bird designs, he was quoted as saying.
The Iranian archeologist said although attributing the discovered pottery as well as other objects unearthed to the early Islamic era is correct, however, some coarse pottery with rope design could even be dated back to the Sassanid period.
