“Despite sanctions imposed in recent months, the share of domestic raw material in final products has risen 24 percent and reached 67 percent.' Said Kianoush Jananpour.

“New formulations and medicine products will be released by Iranian researchers in the weeks and months to come, but realizing the potential to manufacture the effective materials inside the country is a distinguished achievement for Iran’s medicine industry,” he added.

He vowed that over 20 percent of the budget to support domestic production will be allocated to precipitate the development of Iranian medicine.
