Tehran, Belgrade resume direct flights after a 27-year hiatus

From now on, direct flights between Tehran and Belgrade and vice versa will be operated twice a week on Saturdays and Tuesdays.

The flight has been welcomed by the Serbian and Iranian nations, as all the tickets until the end of summer have been booked.

Launching direct flights between Tehran and Belgrade and vice versa area among the major measures taken to promote ties between Serbia and Iran.

In addition to Iran Air, Qeshm Air is also planning to operate flights twice a week between the two capitals in near future.

The two countries’ decision to remove visa requirements in a bid to facilitate tourism and trade exchanges are among major steps towards bolstering bilateral ties in recent months.
