The Iranian nation and the Supreme Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei have always provided an unconditional support for the Syrian nation and government against the international terrorism, Yasser Hourieh noted.
He made the remarks in a ceremony held to celebrate signing of a cooperation document between Syria's Al Sham Private University and Iran's Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
The official said that exchange of academics and students and doing joint research projects are the aims of signing the cooperation document between the two Iranian and Syrian universities.
According to the Al Sham Private University, it is a non-profit institution and has several faculties, including Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Faculty of Literatures and Humanities, Faculty of Law, Faculty of International Relations and Diplomacy, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Agriculture as well as Languages Institute for serving all faculties.
Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is a university in northeastern Iran. The university was established in 1949.
Ferdowsi University of Mashhad includes School of Letters and Humanities, School of Economics and Business Administration, School of Theology, School of Sciences, School of Mathematical Sciences, School of Agriculture, School of Education and Psychology, School of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Islamic Art, Research Institute of Biotechnology as well as Sun and Air Research Institute (SARI).
