The object was flying above the house of a senior cleric of the city Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Mousavi Jazayeri, said his office’s representative Komeil Asakereh on Sunday night.

The governor of Ahvaz Jamal Alami also said that the identity of the unauthorized object is still unknown due to the darkness.

Alami added that the case is under investigation and the area is secure.

He also rejected rumors about heavy shooting in the area and stressed that the object flew away following warnings.
