Larijani made the remarks Monday in separate phone conversations with governors of Qom, Lorestan and Markazi provinces.
In his phone calls, he got informed of the latest conditions of these three provinces as regard rain.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in phone calls with governors of Ardebil, Kerman and Hamedan underlined readiness for managing natural disasters and urged taking advantage of all facilities to prevent damages to people.
Floods in a number of provinces have claimed the lives of at least 42 people and injured scores more. A number of urban and rural infrastructures, buildings and farms have been damaged due to severe flooding.
Iranian president in his call on Sunday night also urged officials to use the communication and technical capacities to issue timely warnings and raise awareness on heavy rains and the likelihood of flooding and spillovers, particularly in river banks and downstream of dams, as well as river floods.
The flash rains began in March 28 in northern provinces of Iran and continued on the following days in other provinces. At least 25 provinces were struggling with floods during the Nowruz holidays that mark the New Year in Iran.
Iranian Armed Forces have been engaged in relief operations upon a call by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
