Smart bikes unveiled in capital Tehran

On the sidelines of the ceremony, mayor of district two Rasool Keshtpour told reporters ten shared bicycle stations have been determined around the region and in the first phase 300 bicycles will be available for citizens to use.

He referred to citizens' enthusiasm to use smart bicycles, adding efforts will be made to run the system in other districts as well.

Keshtpour noted the bicycles, equipped with a tracking system, are monitored by a control room.

Using smart bicycles in Tehran is an effort to reduce air pollution as well as to turn Tehran into a smart city.

The first Iranian smart bike rental platform was unveiled in Elecomp 2018 (International Electronic, Computer and E-Commerce Exhibition in Iran) and stole the limelight from other products and services presented at the fair.
