SARC added that it took one month to prepare the convoy which consists of 78 trucks loaded with relief items containing 10, 475 food baskets, bags of flour, 18, 000 children clothes’ baskets, 10, 075 personal cleanliness kits, 1,200 baskets for the newborn, in addition to medicine, medical equipment and food supplements for children and women.

SARC chief Khaled Habboubati said in a statement that the convoy is the first to enter al-Rukban Camp which was run after obtaining the approval and guarantees of all parties concerned with the Syrian government’s facilitations, considering it a positive step towards delivering more food and non-food aid.

He pledged more efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Syrians and meet their massive humanitarian needs.
