Red Crescent working group established to help Myanmar Muslims

He added that by doing the necessary coordination with regional bureau of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent and in case of their agreement, the working group of Iran is ready to offer its services.

The spokesman said consignments are ready to be dispatched for Myanmar's affected people, including relief and hygienic items.

He said after receiving necessary legal authorizations the consignments will be dispatched.

Following Myanmar Army's attack against Rohingya Muslims on August 25, 2017, at least 400 people were killed and almost 125,000 people escaped to Bangladesh and it caused a human crisis.

Rohingya is a Muslim minority in Buddhist country of Myanmar.
