Addressing a group of ambassadors, charge d’affaires and Islamic figures residing in Italy on Saturday, he added that Muslims demonstrations across the world were a big ‘No’ to the ‘Deal of Century’.
Recalling new conditions in the Islamic world, he stressed the need for unity and solidarity among Muslim states to maintain the ideal of the Palestinian nation.
Noting that ‘Deal of the Century’ is not a deal; rather it is a deception of the century and Muslims rallies on the World Quds Day was a big ‘No’ to the issue.
Bayat also referred to the recent statements of Iran’s foreign minister on the holy Quds, saying that Quds belongs neither to the US to donate it nor to Zionist regime to take it; rather Quds belongs to Palestine and Palestinians and is first Qibla of Muslims.
