Quake jolts western Iran

According to the seismological center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 18:53 hours local time (15:23 GMT Monday) in the depth of 10 kilometers.

The epicenter of the earthquake was registered along Iraq-Ilam borderline.

Last Sunday a large-scale earthquake measuring 7.3 on Richter scale hit western Iran causing massive damages and casualties.
