Quake jolts central Iran

According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 18:07 hours local time (14:37 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 54.92 degrees longitude and 31.19 degrees latitude and in the depth of 10 kilometers underground.

Center of the tremor was located 48 kilometers from Anar city in Kerman province and 63 kilometers from Mehriz city in Yazd province.

Mehriz located 30 kilometers south of Yazd city, capital of Yazd province.

There is no immediate report on possible casualty or damages.
