President Rouhani plants sapling in nat'l Arbor Day

Tehran Mayor Mohammad Ali Najafi and Agricultural Jihad Minister Mahmoud Hojjati also accompanied President Rouhani in the ceremony.

On Arbor Day individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees and many countries mark the occasion.

Though usually observed in the spring, the date varies depending on climate and suitable planting season.
