Pakistan keen on boosting trade, cultural ties with Iran

In a meeting with grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic, late Imam Khomeini, he added that his meeting with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was not only political; but it was rather spiritual too.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, for his part, congratulated Imran Khan on his election as the country premier, saying that Pakistan people’s confidence is a great asset for you.

He hoped that his tenure would be a good era for the Pakistani people.

Pakistan is a big section of Islamic world, he said.

Imran Khan paid tribute to Imam Khomeini and laid a wreath of flowers on his tomb in southern Tehran late on Monday.
