Over 1,000 kg of narcotics seized in Southern Iran in 1 day

Talking to IRNA on Tuesday, Karimi said that Khorasan Razavi police forces put the issue on their agenda after they received a public report on delivery of a big package of drugs to the drug traffickers in Kerman.

After due inspections, They discovered some one ton and 134 kilograms of opium and 30 kilograms hashish from a house in Kerman, he said, noting that during the operation jointly undertaken by Khorasan Razavi and Kerman polices a drug trafficker was also arrested.

The commander said that public cooperation in confronting drug traffickers is praiseworthy.

Over 15 tons of drugs were seized in Khorasan Razavi province in the first half of the Iranian calendar year started on March 21.
