Oman calls for development of ties with Iran in science, technology

During a meeting with Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Reza Nouri Shahroudi, Shahab bin Tareq Al SAID, who also heads the Oman High Research Council said, 'There are good capacities in the technology sector between the two countries that need to be activated.'

He also expressed satisfaction at the level of relations between the two countries and his attendance at the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, which was held at Iran’s embassy.

In this meeting, Nouri Shahroudi also expressed his gratitude for the presence of the Omani official in the ceremony of the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing Iran's strive for developing relations with Oman in all fields.

Iranian Ambassador also called for the development of relations in the field of science and technology by mentioning some achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field.

Iran and Oman have long enjoyed good economic relations, and in recent years, bilateral trade cooperation has been growing rapidly due to banking cooperation.
