Nicaraguan president offers condolence to Iran on tragic plane crash

The message read, “I convey condolences of the Nicaraguan people on the passenger plane crash which bereaved scores of Iranian families.”

“The Nicaraguan people express their sympathy with the bereaved families and I as the country’s president extend condolences to the Supreme Leader and President Hassan Rouhani and I hope God helps us in these difficult conditions,” he said.

An 'ATR' passenger plane belonging to Aseman Airline crashed somewhere close to Semirom, south of Isfahan province, on Sunday when it was flying from Tehran to Yasouj.

The wreckage of the plan has yet to be found but all its 60 passengers and 6 crew members are feared dead.
