Mine blast leaves 1 dead, 2 injured in western Iran

'The accident happened while the demining group was clearing the area of landmines on Wednesday,' deputy governor of Mehran city Majid Zargushi said.

'The two injured were transferred to the hospital by air medical services', he said.

This is the third mine blast happening in demining operation in the current Iranian year (beginning on March 21, 2017) in Mehran city.

In the previous incidents also some people were injured.
