Light quake jolts Kohbanan in Kerman province

According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 19:08:51 hour local time (15:38 hour GMT) and its epicenter was at 65.72 degrees longitude and 31.83 degrees latitude in the depth of 14 kilometers underground.

There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damages.

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on Richter scale jolted Joor village in Kohbanan city area on December 21, 2017.

The tremor caused demolishing of some buildings and injuring a number of people.

Kohbanan city is located 180 kilometers north of Kerman city, capital of the province.
