Lebanon prize goes to ‘Junk Girl

The flick narrates the story of a girl who is left alone due to her bizarre and unconventional looks.

Being different from others is the reason she is always maltreated and annoyed by them. In the end she becomes an outcast in her society.

The film has so far competed in a number of international events and has won awards at some including an award for Best Production Design from 2017 Atlas and Aeris International Film Festival in the US.

The festival, which took place from July 12-14 sought to promote independent film culture and encourage its development.
