Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of the International Congress on Jundishapour, Zia al-Rahman said that he is pleased to have been invited to the congress, adding that Jundishapour was a major cultural and agricultural center in ancient times.

“I was impressed by Jundishapour's huge capacities and I will surely increase my studies in the field,” he said.

International Congress on Jundishapour was held in Dezful from February 27-28.

First international university was set up in the city at the order of Shapour I of Sassanid dynasty.

Ancient city of Jundishapour is located 12 kilometers from Dezful near Islamabad village.
