Italian composer Albanese to perform in Tehran, Shiraz

The Italian artist, who is famous for minimalistic piano melodies, string arrangements and electronica, will perform at Tehran's Andisheh Hall on December 7 and then bring his art on stage at Shiraz's Hafez Hall on December 9.

His performance in Iran is taking place upon the invitation of Rooberoo Mansion on the anniversary of its establishment.

This is the second program of the Resonance Project, using music in international conflict resolution. The project began last year in December, with Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and producer Ólafur Arnalds performing 'Autumn Light' in Tehran.

The project is preparing for its second year in 2018, with Federico Albanese performing 'Twilight' in Iran.

In 2007, Albanese founded the avant-garde duo 'La Blanche Alchimie' with singer and songwriter Jessica Einaudi to release three albums.

As a solo-pianist, he released his debut album 'The Houseboat and the Moon' in 2014.

In his latest album 'The Blue Hour', which was released in 2016, the 36-year-old musician presents crisp, very dynamic and complexly arranged compositions.

Federico Albanese is a composer born in Milan, Italy in 1982. His musical versatility is a natural gift that pushes him to explore music in all its facets.

Albanese's compositions are airy and cinematic, blending classical music, pop and psychedelia.
