Farhadi’s movie has been nominated for the best actor, best movie, soundtrack, best director, best actress and best Scénario.
The 33rd Goya Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences (AACCE) will be presented at the Conference and Exhibition Palace of Seville on February 2, 2019 to honour the best in Spanish films of 2018.
The ceremony will be televised in Spain by the Spanish public television (TVE) and hosted by television host and comedian Andreu Buenafuente and actress Silvia Abril.
It will be also televised for the international public by the TVE Internacional channel.
Asghar Farhadi's 'Everybody Knows' is the inaugural film. The film follows Laura (Cruz) on her travels from Argentina to her small home town in Spain for her sister's wedding, bringing her two children along for the occasion. Amid the joyful reunion and festivities, the eldest daughter is abducted.
