Iran’s documentary ‘Asho’ to be screened by two int’l festivals

According to is official website, “the Millennium Festival is intended to be the venue for the screening of high-quality, independent documentary films that talk about our times and encourage viewers to reflect their relationship to the world.”

“The Millennium Festival highlights films whose themes are linked to the major challenges and objectives of the 21st century, adopted by the United Nations in 2000, and which reflect humanity's dreams and ambitions for a more fair and equitable world.”

The Fribourg International Film Festival is an annual film festival in Fribourg, Switzerland. It is focused on selected cultural films from Asia, Africa and Latin America. The Regard d’or is the Grand Prize of the Fribourg International.

Fribourg was scheduled to be held during March 20-28 but due to the outbreak of coronavirus movies will just be reviewed by the jury.

Asho had earlier attended Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Dok Leipzig, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and Cinema Verite.
