Iran’s artworks on display in Baghdad

Organized by Iran’s Cultural Office in Baghdad after coordination with Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Cultural Heritage, the exhibition is showcasing artworks by three Iranian artists.

Hand-woven carpet tableaux featuring natural scenery by Lida Hajlou, handicrafts by Hossein Sarjouqian and script tableaux by Mehdi Honarjouyan are on public display in Baghdad.

Ten-Day Dawn ceremonies started in Iran and abroad, marking the 40th victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, which put an end to the monarchy of the US-backed Pahlavi regime in the country.

The festivities will culminate in nationwide rallies on February 10 this year, the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
