Iranian movies to go on screen in Pakistan film fest

In addition to Iranian movies, filmmakers from Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and some other Asian countries have also take part with their movies in the event.

Iran appreciates the cultural attempt by Pakistani officials to organize such an event, Iranian Cultural Attaché in Islamabad Shahabeddin Daraie said.

Daraie also said that such international festivals are very effective tools to show the capacity Asian filmmakers have in producing films and introducing the cinema in their countries.

The Iranian official said that Iran is ready to cooperate with Pakistan on organizing the international film festival.
