Iranian films win audience's hearts at US Love festival

'Immortality' by Mehdi Fard-Qaderi received 11 nominations in nine categories. It was nominated for Best Feature, Best Director and Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography for Amin Jafari, Best Score for Ramin Rezapour, Best Actor for Missaq Zare, best supporting actor for Arman Arianasab, best actress for Faqiheh Soltani and Best Supporting Actress for Maral Farjad, Anahita Nemati, Soodabeh Beyzaee, loveinternationalfilmfestival.com reported.

Another Iranian film 'Temporary License' directed by Afshin Hashemi was nominated in six categories.

Afshin Hashemi's film was nominated for Best Director, Best Picture and Best Feature awards, and the actors who have starred in it, Ismail Mehrabi and Masoud Keramati, were nominated for the Best Actor awards, while Asghar Rafiejam was nominated for the Best Cinematography award.

'Temporary License' narrates the story of two men in Tehran who decide to go on a night journey in the heart of the city.

'Limit' by Javad Daraei and 'The Rainy Love' by Mahdieh Shirin Qaredaqi were both nominated for Best Short Foreign award. 'Swan Lake' by Ali Nikfar and 'Blows with the Wind' by Hazhir Asadi received nominations for Best Short Animation awards.

The sixth edition of Love International Film Festival will be held from July 24-27 in Beverly Hills, California, the US.
