
On the sidelines of the opening ceremony which was held in Shirza, another stamp for the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) was also unveiled.
Among those present at the ceremony of the two-day event were Iran's Minister of Education Mohammad Bathaie, Head of the Supreme Council of the Iran's National Commission in ISESCO, Mohammad Javad Dehqani, the chairman of ISC, and the representative of ISESCO from Morocco Mohammad Ghomari.
ISESCO was founded by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in May 1979.
Having 52 member states, it is one of the largest international Islamic organizations across the globe.
Headquartered in Rabat, Morocco, ISESCO specializes in the areas of education, science and culture.
The organizations' aims include enhancing cooperation among the Member States in the areas of education, science, culture and communication; contributing to world peace and security; publicize the true image of Islam and Islamic culture; promoting dialogue among civilizations, cultures and religions.
