Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday, Pir Hossein Kulivand said no reports have been released on the casualties or damage as a result of the 4.2- magnitude quake in Yasuj, Kohkiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province and the 4.1-magnitude tremor in Sarpol-e Zahab in western Province of Kermanshah.
According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, Kermanshah tremor occurred at 4:37 hours local time (0:07 GMT) in an area located at 34.43 degrees latitude and 45.97 degrees longitude at the depth of 8 km underground.
This is while Yasuj quake happened at 12:21 hours local time (7:51 GMT) in an area located at 30.75 degrees latitude and 51.59 degrees longitude.
