Iran, Thailand sign MoU on academic cooperation

Thailand's King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonbur (KMUTT) and Iran's University of Science and Technology through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreed to launch joint working groups on satellite, transportation, neural engineering and other arenas.

At the meeting Jabbar-Ali Zakeri, the dean of the Iranian university and Sakarindr Bhumiratana, head of KMUTT reached to the conclusion that the ground is well prepared to broaden mutual cooperation as the two academic centers pursue identical activities.

The two sides also discussed ways of scientific exchanges between the two universities and setting up scientific courses in both countries.

The Thai delegation toured various departments of the Iranian university, including School of Railway Engineering.
