Iran Supreme Leader plants sapling in Arbor Day

During the ceremony, Supreme Leader urged officials of Agricultural Jihad and Energy ministry to take as serious the Watershed management issue in relation to planting trees and greeneries

On Arbor Day, individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees and many countries mark the occasion.

Though usually observed in the spring, the date varies depending on climate and suitable planting season.
