Iran stresses cultural cooperation with Afghanistan

Iran and Afghanistan are both two Muslim countries which speak the same language and share lots of commonalities, Abdolhadi Feqhizadeh said in a meeting with Afghanistan's Ambassador to Tehran Nasir Ahmad Nour.

Feqhizadeh noted that Iran has respect for all Muslim countries and their religion in similar way.

During the meeting, the Afghan envoy described Iran-Afghanistan commonalities as 'unprecedented' in the region and the world.

He praised Iran's hospitality towards millions of Afghan refugees, and said that there are good grounds for cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The Afghan refugees living in Iran are much more educated than those who are living in other countries, the envoy added.
