'Regarding the activity of Medical Technology Fund in the field of medical equipment, various products such as autoclaves, dialysis machines and blood glucose testing devices have been produced by companies active in this field with the support of this fund', Salmani told IRNA in an exclusive interview.
A medical autoclave is a device that uses steam to sterilize equipment and other objects. This means that all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores are inactivated.
Autoclaves are found in many medical settings, laboratories, and other places that need to ensure the sterility of an object.
Salmani noted that subsidiaries of this fund have been succesful in producing the first dialysis device and manufacturing of autoclave medical devices and are currently engaged in producing dental and hospital autoclaves that have become self-sufficient in this regard.
