Iran seeks 'joint formula' with Turkey on gender justice

'Positive discrimination and girls' education is very important for us,' Masume Ebtekar, Iranian Vice President for women's’ affairs told Turkish Ambassador to Iran Derya Ors on Tuesday.

She criticized western countries for calling for gender equality, saying they “ignore the differences between men and women at birth”.

'Given the common grounds between Iran and Turkey, the two can devise a joint formula on how to reach gender justice in our countries,” Ebtekar noted.
