Iran releases book in Bosnian on revolution achievements

The book, called “Proud of the past, hoping for the future” includes several essays on the country’s accomplishments since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran’s political structure as well as the minority group’s rights.

The compilation also takes a look at foreign investment opportunities in Iran and tourism in the country.

“The Iranian nation is proud of its achievements such as denial of royal dictatorship, gaining independence, and religious democracy among others,” wrote Iranian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Mahmoud Heydari in the book’s introduction.

“The Iranians are also happy that various plots of the world’s arrogant powers haven’t been able to stop their revolution,” he added.

The publication coincides with the 40th anniversary of victory of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution.
