Iran plays active role at UN Drug commission meeting

Secretary General of Iran's Drug Control Headquarters Eskandar Momeni delivered keynote speech during the meeting while conferring with representatives of China, India, Portugal, Indonesia, Pakistan and UN executive official in charge of fight against crimes and drug trafficking on expansion of mutual cooperation in the sector.

Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN and other relative international organizations stationed in Vienna was appointed as the first deputy for commission in fight against drug trafficking and president of the committee dubbed 'Resolutions Committee' which has issued eight important resolutions on drug related issues.
