Farah Sadat Halk added on Monday, “Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding in June this year between the Iranian Materials and Energy Research Institute of Iran and Malaya University of Technology (UTM), a research project aimed at identifying the roots of air pollution in the capitals of Iran and Malaysia has begun.

He noted that this MoU is valid for up to five years and can be renewed if the parties agree.

The research project was conducted by researchers at the Iranian Materials and Energy Research Institute and Malaya University of Technology on the comparative study of Kuala Lumpur and Tehran air pollutants.
