Iran, Lithuania officials review cultural, scientific ties

Referring to history, arts, literature and Lithuania people interest in Iran, Kermanshahi urged both sides to facilitate cultural cooperation.

Signing agreement between national libraries of two countries, holding Iran film week in Lithuania and holding Iran concert are among topics that the Iranian diplomatic mission has put on its agenda.

Meanwhile, Kvietkauskas pointed to Iranian poetry and literature's fame in the world and expressed hope for translating Iranian books and poems from Persian to Lithuanian language.

Expressing interest in Persian Language courses in Vilnius University, he wished for Iranian embassy to make efforts for attracting Lithuanian students.

He also invited Iranian artists to attend Lithuania cultural events.
