Iran, India stress cooperation in health sector

The US' illegal sanctions against Iran should not affect strategic relations between Iran and India in field of health, Minister of Health and Medical Education of Iran Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi said.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Minister of Health and Family Welfare of India J P Nadda which was held on the sidelines of the National Cradle Conference, held in in Hyderabad, India.

During the meeting, the Iranian minister called for promotion of all-out ties between Tehran and New Delhi.

The two-day National Cradle Conference 2018 on obstetrics, gynecology, fertility and neonatology was inaugurated on Saturday.

The conference is being attended by over 600 delegates from across the country and over 80 renowned faculty members, including international experts from the US, UK, Canada, Iran and Australia.
