Hossein Nemati, during a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Iran Saurabh Kumar, added that in 2017, 5,588 items from India were imported to Iran.
Nemati referred to daily and weekly postal exchanges between the two countries directly and indirectly, adding that, 'The leading postal service has been established between Tehran and India since 1997, and postal exchanges in all services, including postal letters and guarantors are done without any problem.
He pointed to publication and exchange of stamps with the theme of 'Hafez' and 'Kabir' two great poets of Iran and India in 2004, the exhibition of stamps and products of Philately (stamp collection art) in 2004 on the occasion of the National Day of India and the publication of a joint stamp about Chabahar port and candela port, on the occasion of the visit of Iranian president to India in 2018.
