Iran hands over 186 illegal immigrants to Pakistan

According to details, these Pakistani workers had gone to Iran for their livelihood. They were apprehended from different parts of Iran by security forces because they were living there without valid travelling documents.

Levies sources said these deportees would be handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency for further investigation after completion of initial inquiry.

Pakistanis living in Iran illegally or trying to enter Iran illegally are caught every year by Iranian security forces. Iranian authorities have been often deporting Pakistanis entering their country illegally.

Earlier Pakistan foreign ministry spokesperson Muhammad Faisal had said that Iran and Pakistan are engaged in strengthening cooperation on border management to stop the illegal movement of immigrants.
