Iran embassy in Yerevan opens memorial book for terror attack victims

Foreign diplomats residing in Yerevan as well as Armenian diplomats and officials signed the book to show their sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims of a recent terrorist attack which claimed the lives of 24 people in the southwestern province of Khouzestan.

Some 25 people, including women and children, were killed and 60 others injured during September 22 terror attack in Ahvaz which took place during a military parade held to mark the 38th anniversary of an eight-year imposed war against Iran.

The self-proclaimed Saudi-affiliated Al-Ahwaz terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Dozens of countries have so far condemned the terror attack in Iran.
