Iran, Azerbaijan keen on promoting all-out ties

During the meeting attended by Iran’s Ambassador Javad Jahangirzadeh and Cultural Attache Asghar Farsi, Iranian official said that Tehran-Baku relations are based on friendship and brotherhood.

“Unity is essential for the Islamic Ummah and Muslim states to counter the enemies,” Ebrahimi-Torkman said.

Iran and Azerbaijan Republic have always been alongside each other and no doubt that bilateral relations will further improve, he said.

Pashazade, for his part, expressed pleasure over Ebrahimi’s visit to Baku and stressed the need for deepening relations between the two neighboring and friendly countries.

Ebrahimi is in Baku at the invitation of Azeri Culture Minister Abulfazl Qarayev to attend the Fifth Global Forum of Dialogue among Cultures.

The two-day forum started on Thursday with representatives from 105 countries and 35 international organizations in attendance.
