
Professors of University of Nantes, Mohammad Mann and Lerrnett Godet, met with officials from the University of Tehran's Geography Faculty on Saturday to take steps to advance the joint project and expand scientific cooperation.
This visit has been launched in accordance with the Jundishapur International Program, which started with the collaboration of the Center for International Studies and Scientific Research of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the French Embassy of Iran in the field of cooperation and cultural activities in Iran (SCAC) since 2004.
In other development a joint meeting of the three-member delegation from the University of Macquarie of Australia was held with some of the officials and faculty members of the Science and Technology University.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Laboratories and then met with the Director of International Scientific and Academic Planning and Collaboration at the Central Library Meeting Hall.
The delegation included Tanveer Shaheed and Mohsen Asadnia and Professor Tracy Rushmer after introducing their university to topics such as studying opportunities of students and professors, joint doctoral program and joint research projects, and comments and suggestions on these topics were raised.
The Australian Board expressed interest in collaborating on a joint PhD program with the university, and stipulated that communications would continue until the results to be achieved.
Saeed Shokoohi, a member of the faculty of ECO Institute of Higher Education and the international scientific secretary of Iran-Russia talks at Allameh Tabataba'i University, said the 2nd International Iranian-Russian Dialogue Conference is jointly hosted by Allameh Tabataba'i University and the University of Humanities and Social Sciences of Petersburg, scheduled to be held on November 1.
