Hamedan to host WTO meeting

The MoU was signed Thursday during a visit by the deputy head of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Mohammad Khodaei to Germany.

The MoU deals with holding the 40th meeting of the WTO Member States in Hamedan.

WTO has 500 members that gather together annually.

The meeting viewed as the biggest one regarding the private sector of WTO is scheduled to be held from Nov 12-14 in western city of Hamedan.

The World Tourism Organization is the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism.
