He made the remarks in a gathering themed 'Religion and Rationality in Religions' which is to be kicked off in January-February next year.
Some 217 articles from various walks of life have been sent to the conference, he said.
The conference is to highlight various characteristic aspects of Imam Reza (AS) to establish dialogue among Muslim and non-Muslim sects to demonstrate Islam in order to fight against extremism and violence under the guise of genuine Islam, he said.
The conference is to thwart propaganda campaign masterminded against Islam and Shia to help enhance knowledge of the youth, establish relations between religious and scientific centers to promote peace and friendship among international community and followers of all religions, he said.
13 countries such as Tanzania, Afghanistan, Pakistan, France, Syria, Palestine, Malaysia, Indonesia, Tunisia, India, Russia, the Philippines and Lebanon have sent their articles and are to play an active role in the conference, Vaezi said.
