German envoy highlights magnificence of Iran cultural heritage

'We are ready for more cooperation to protect and safeguard the glorious Iranian cultural heritage,' Michael Klor-Berchtold added in a ceremony held to celebrate renovation of part of capital, Tehran's old market.

Commenting on the cooperation between Iran and Germany to refurbish historical monuments in the quake hit Bam city located in the southeastern province of Kerman, he noted that Berlin has provided financial and technical support for several projects.
