Demoiselle crane was witnessed in Gandoman wetland

Witnessing this type of protected species in Gandoman wetland during summer implies the appropriate conditions and the importance of this international ecosystem, said Shahram Ahmadi to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

He added that habitation of birds during the summer in the wetlands of the province has been increased. Currently, more than 30 thousand aquatic birds, including Grebes, Coots, Herons, Storks, Egretta, and Ducks are spending their aestivation period.
